Vitaler's Berberine (Barberry) 400 mg - 60 Capsules

Vitaler's Berberine (Barberry) 400 mg is a capsule supplement with barberry root extract standardised to 99% berberine sulphate. Each capsule provides 400 mg of extract, which means 396 mg of berberine sulphate. The only other ingredient is the plant-based capsule shell, and the product is suitable for vegans.

About the product

Berberine is a yellow alkaloid found in the roots and bark of several plants, including barberry, goldenseal and Chinese goldthread (coptis). Its intense yellow colour made it a traditional dye for wool and leather. The raw material here is Indian barberry, a Himalayan shrub whose root is especially rich in berberine.
